July – August: Planning Season
This is the ideal time to start planning. Professional installers begin accepting bookings for the fall, and early birds get the best selection of installation dates. Research companies, read reviews, and request quotes.
September: Prime Booking Window
This is the sweet spot. September bookings secure your preferred installation date in October or early November. Most professional companies — including Holiday Lights Decor — offer early-booking incentives during this period.
October: Installation Begins
Professional crews start installations in early October while weather is still mild. Early October installations mean your lights are ready to turn on November 1st or whenever you choose. Our busiest installation weeks are mid-October through mid-November.
November: Peak Demand
By November, most companies are fully booked for prime dates. You can still find availability, but your options will be limited. Rush fees may apply for last-minute bookings.
December: Emergency Only
December bookings are extremely limited and typically carry premium pricing. If you haven't booked by now, you may need to wait until next year or handle installation yourself.

- Installations: October 1 – December 15
- Display season: Your chosen start date through January 1+
